Our Horse Drawn Funerals
Nottinghamshire Funeral Service use a family run Horse Drawn Funeral company who provide a specialist, professional and personal service.
They have over 20 commercial horses all of which have many years of commercial experience. Choose either the noble, majestic presence of our Black Friesians, or the elegant, ethereal white Lipizzaner's. Horses can be driven in pairs, teams or sets of six. Outriders are also available.
A selection of beautiful 19th century and 21st century hearses are beautifully maintained and embellished with cut glass and velvet interior trim.
The coachman and grooms wear traditional funeral attire and their horses are always turned out to the highest standards. All their staff are fully qualified in commercial carriage driving and have years of experience.
To complete the occasion, a large selection of professional drapes and plumes to adorn the horses and match any preferred colour scheme can be chosen.
Tailoring to the family's specific individual requirements, we ensure all needs are met with class and dignity and attention to detail is always assured.
Our horse-drawn funeral option can be added to any of the packages for an additional cost and they provide that extra touch of distinction on any procession.
