If a Cremation Service is the choice made by your family as the type of funeral you wish for your loved one to have, then the first decision to be made is the location. You may choose whichever Crematorium even if it is not necessarily the closest one. This choice may be made on personal preference or maybe a former family funeral could’ve have been held at the chosen location.

The Service
The service time differs from each Crematorium but the Cremation Service will usually last for around 30 – 40 minutes, however should a longer time be needed we are able to book another time creating a double slot.
The service can be Religious or Non – Religious, if you do not have anybody in mind who you would like to take the Funeral Service our Funeral Arranger and Funeral Director will be able to help and guide you with this.
It is possible for the Service to take place at another location i.e. at a Church and then the Committal will take place at the crematorium. Traditionally this would take place after the funeral service however it is an option should family wish to attend the Committal first and then hold a memorial service following the Committal at the Church.
After a Cremation has taken place the Cremated Remains can either be scattered in the Crematorium grounds, or we can collect them from the Crematorium to be returned back to the family or we can assist with organising the burial of them at a different location.
If the decision of what to do with the Cremated Remains has not been made, we can collect them from the Crematorium and keep them in our care until such time a decision has been chosen.
